The Aurora Street Bridge, Seattle Washington

The Auroa Street Bridge, also known as the George Washington Memorial Bridge. This nearly 3000 foot steel cantilever structure space Lake Union between Freemont and Queen Anne Neighborhoods in downtown Seattle. This particular shot only shows about 1/8th of the bridge. This image was published in a double page spread for the July, 2011 issue of Seattle Met Magazine on pages 62 and 63 as well as the magazine web site. This image was used as a backdrop for the featured article “The Girl On the Bridge,” By; James Ross Gardner. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Andre Mora, the Art Director of the Magazine. I blogged about this shot back in June of 2008 when it was taken HERE on the FPT blog.
