While most of my work is outside of the professional modeling or fashion photography genre, I do enjoy working with both experienced and new models on concept shoots, portfolio enhancement and on paid agency or client shoots.
In working with models, agents and clients wishing to hire me to shoot a project for them, I feel it’s important to have a well defined process of what to expect when working together. My Process for working with models is the same in every shoot regardless of paid or time for prints. It’s something that I have developed over the years that works and consistently gets great results when followed. All models, agents or customers I work with are asked to be familliar with the process prior to working with me so there are no misunderstandings and expectations are properly set.

Working Directly with Models, Agents or Agencies
I am always interested in working with models looking to do something different or creative. I am available for model select sessions where the focus is on the model and their respective portfolio or commercial projects. At times, I am commissioned to shoot on behalf of a client and will contact models directly (or their agents) based on the look of the model and or experience of the model. Models who need to enhance their portfolio or have a specific "look" they need to complete their portfollio are welcome to contact me directly through the web site and arrange for a shoot or send an email directly to: models@facesplacesandthings.com My rates for photo sessions can be found here. Along with both indoor studio and location modeling/portrait sessions, Faces, Places and Things offers a complete image editing, restoration and re-touching set of services. For models who have raw images in need of color balancing, editing or re-touching, we can help.

Time For Print/CD Work
I am willing to do work on a time for print basis. However, I reserve this for creative projects or projects that are "different" and key additions to portfolio’s (both yours and mine). Usually, I will initiate these requests. Mainly because I have run across a model that has a look I would like to capture or I have a personal project/ idea and found a model has the right look for it. If you are a model looking for a photographer, have a unique look or have a great idea and can’t afford to hire a photographer hourly, send me an email and lets discuss it. If I like the idea and want to add it to my book, I am more than happy to work with you. Please note that my process for working with models still applies regardless of the session being paid, commissioned or TFP.
Clients, Agents and Agencies
My rates for working with models or agencies are expressed in hourly increments and package types. These are based on a package of defined image types, poses or "looks" and deliverables in terms of images, editing or post production, CD/DVD’s, and any prints or comp cards that accompany the package. Flat rates, include set up, shooting, post production and delivery of the finished images to the client, agency or model. Please refer to my rate sheet for packge details.
I am also interested in working with agencies. New models need portfolios as well as camera time and training. I am happy to work with agencies looking to get different looks and shots for their aspiring or experienced models. I can provide turn-key services. Meaning, mobile studio, make-up, hair, wardrobe and post production services if desired. Please note that Make-up, Hair and Wardrove services can be provided hourly or as a part of a flat session rate. It should be noted that these services are subcontracted out to professionals that I have a working relationship. Clients are also free to contract separately with these individiauals if desired.
